"After moving into a new home in June 2021 and lacking in design skills but having some idea of what I wanted I was so very lucky to meet Julie Stevens when I went to browse for furniture at Hunter Home, Wairau Park.
I got talking to Julie and was excited to know that she was a design consultant. However, I thought that when I pointed out that my house was in Whangarei and I was just browsing in Auckland furniture shops that this would be a deal breaker. Not for Julie.
I showed Julie pictures of my house and she was immediately interested and we arranged for her to visit. Julie spent quite a bit of time inside the house taking pictures and measurements, talking to me about her ideas and asking me lots of questions. A couple of weeks later I met Julie at Hunter Home and saw that she had gone the extra mile with her concept for the furniture for the house. All from the Hunter Home store.
Because Julie had done such a great job with the furniture and had gone the extra mile with material colours for the squabs and a wallpaper for the snug I felt so comfortable with her concept and the feeling that she really cared about the project that I bought the lot. I have never spent a second regretting my decision and would highly recommend Julie as a first class design consultant and a fabulous, caring person. She has amazing talent, she listens, she delivers and she follows up.”
“I wanted to email you about the furniture we picked out with you early last year. Now in our new apartment, finally it is looking great. Having the help and plans of the apartment, was a blessing as it’s very hard to plan for something not even built. Thank you for all the plans you did and placement of furniture, especially leaving space for movement around furniture etc. It really helped and made us understand all the furniture we needed to get rid of from our home in Bayswater. The service you offered was invaluable and made it easy to just buy all what we needed from Hunters, plus the excellent price of the pieces we brought.
